J. Phillip Bryant

Phillip Bryant was born in Dexter, Missouri. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1982 with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics. Before joining Rabbitt, Pitzer & Snodgrass, Phillip was a claims adjuster for several years. He attained the designation as a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter in 1994. Phillip also worked in purchasing for manufacturing interests and was employed in grain elevator operations.

Phillip secured his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1999 and was admitted to both the Missouri and Illinois Bars in 1999. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court in the Eastern District of Missouri and the Southern District of Illinois. Phillip has presented arguments to the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District and the United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit.

Phillip authored, "Underinsured Motorist Coverage" for the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers. He has spoken on topics including the litigation of bodily injury lawsuits and innkeeper liability. In addition, Phillip has planned and presented mock trial presentations. He participated in the International Association of Defense Counsel's Trial Academy that was held at Stanford University in 2004.

Phillip is a member of The Missouri Bar, Illinois State Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, The Lawyers Association of St. Louis, Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters. Additionally, Phillip serves as an Alderman for the City of Crystal Lake Park, Missouri.
