Christopher J. Lang is a graduate of Saint Louis University, where he received his B.S. in Business Management in 1994. He received his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1998, and was admitted to the State Bar of Missouri in 1998; the State Bar of Kansas in 1999, and the State Bar of Illinois in 1999.

Chris was the recipient of the 2004 Lon O. Hocker Award, which is presented annually by the Missouri Bar Foundation to a young lawyer who demonstrates outstanding trial work and unusual proficiency in the art of trial advocacy. In 2008, Chris was also the recipient of the John C. Shepherd Professionalism Award, given annually to a young lawyer who most exemplifies The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis' tenets of professionalism in the tradition of John C. Shepherd. He was also recognized as a Rising Star in the 2008 listing of Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers. Chris has also been honored with an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Chris is a member of The Missouri Bar, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers and the St. Louis County Bar Association, where he has served as a member of the Executive Committee. He has also participated in the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers' Trial Academy as well as the International Association of Defense Counsel's Trial Academy in Boulder, Colorado. Chris has served as lead trial counsel in numerous cases involving personal injury claims, professional liability, defamation, employment, business and commercial litigation, construction and a variety of first and third party insurance coverage and bad faith claims at both state and federal levels throughout the Midwest.
